Biscayne Bay is a shallow lagoon situated along the southeastern coast of Miami, Florida. The bay is one of the most beautiful bodies of water in the world, and hosts a rich and diverse marine eco-system and living coral reefs harboring vibrantly colored fish and extraordinary flora. Florida's Intracoastal Waterway runs through the center of Biscayne Bay.

Biscayne Bay is a fantastic aquatic playground with a multitude of marinas, sailing clubs, and is a water sport lover’s haven for canoeing, surfing, and kayaking. Tourism is the economic core of the bay which features pristine sandy beaches, open green space and preserves, bustling shipping ports, commercial and high-rise buildings, and lovely neighborhoods, each reflecting their own style and character. The communities depend on the bay for recreation, navigation and water supply. Biscayne Bay is home to the educational facility of Florida International Campus.

Located on Biscayne Bay Boulevard, the marvelous Bayside Marketplace overlooks Biscayne Bay and is a vibrant shopping district. Hundreds of shops, restaurants, retail stores, and charming sidewalk cafes offer visitors endless food, fun, and shopping pleasures. A pedestrian link transport visitors to the American Airlines Arena. Visit the golden sandy beaches of Miami Beach, the Miami Children’s Museum, or take a tour of the interesting and educational Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserve.
